Ajahzi's Story

MEET
Ajahzi Gardner
Hi! My name is Ajahzi Gardner. I'm 27 years old, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 and am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I've been a full time online fitness trainer and content creator since 2018.
I started out my fitness journey as a freshman in college "avoiding the freshman 15" and wanting to be as skinny as I possibly could. Despite growing up playing sports, I have struggled with my body image for as long as I can remember - growing up with a much heavier, curvier physique than other girls my age.
As I began to share my fitness journey on social media, I developed a relatively unhealthy relationship with my body, food, and the gym. And over the past couple of years, I started to place less pressure on myself to reach a desired physique goal and more focus on living an overall happier, more balanced lifestyle.
Balance means something different to everyone and I'm loving my 'balance' in this season of life. I've strayed away from cutting and bulking seasons, tracking my food, and working towards aesthetic goals. I now prioritize getting in movement and exercise that I love (yoga, pilates, lifting, spinning), not seeing food only as numbers, and making fitness a part of my life, rather than my whole life.
If I can achieve anything with my platform, I want to inspire women to skip the "phase" of hating their body and resorting to excessive amounts of exercise and restricting their food. I've found joy and purpose in helping women navigate a healthier relationship with themselves and embodying self-love and self-confidence in all chapters of their journey.
